LIGHTORA / AFSANORA
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Afsanora handles information in Lightora, our light-and-mirror puzzle game, and on this website.
It covers the current development version of Lightora for Android and Web (version 0.1.0; Android package com.afsanora.lightora) and this informational website. For privacy questions, email lightora@afsanora.com.
The short version
The current game has no accounts, advertising or gameplay analytics. Your puzzles, progress and preferences stay in local storage. We receive information you choose to email us. Website hosting also involves the technical processing needed to deliver and secure the pages.
1. Information stored by the game
Lightora keeps game information on your device so you can continue playing. This includes:
- Completed campaign levels and the puzzle you are currently playing.
- Mirror orientations, source direction, remaining fuses, moves, laser tests, hints and active play time.
- Separate Free Play progress, recent puzzle identifiers and saved daily puzzles.
- Daily completion dates and preferences for sound effects, vibration and reduced motion.
On Android, this information is stored in the app’s local storage. In the Web game, it is stored in your browser’s localStorage for that site. Afsanora does not receive these saves through the current game. Puzzles, including daily challenges, are generated on your device rather than downloaded from an Afsanora puzzle server.
2. Accounts, analytics, advertising and permissions
The current game does not require a Lightora account or integrate advertising, in-app purchases, gameplay analytics or cloud crash-reporting services. It does not upload gameplay events or advertising identifiers to Afsanora.
Lightora does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone or personal photo library. Android uses vibration for optional feedback and includes internet permission. The Web version needs a connection to load its files. These capabilities do not mean your local progress is sent to us. Development builds can write technical diagnostics to local device or browser logs; these are not automatically submitted to an Afsanora service.
3. If you contact us
If you email lightora@afsanora.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you include. We use them to respond, investigate issues and provide support. Our email provider processes messages to deliver that service. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed for your request, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations. You can email us to request deletion of information you have sent.
4. This website and hosting
This informational website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub and its service providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request times, to deliver and secure the site. Their practices are described in GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
We do not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, contact forms or marketing cookies to this website. Its images and styles are served with the site, and its fonts use your device’s available fonts. The informational pages do not read the game’s local saves. A hosted Web game also requires its hosting provider to process requests for game files. External links and email services have their own privacy practices.
5. Platform services and backups
If you obtain Lightora through Google Play, Google may process store, installation, device and diagnostic information according to its own settings and policies. Afsanora may receive aggregated store statistics and quality reports through Play Console. This is separate from analytics inside the game. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your operating system or browser may back up, restore, clear or manage app and site data according to your settings. These services are controlled by the platform; Lightora does not provide an Afsanora cloud-save or cross-device account service.
6. Sharing and selling information
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not upload your local game saves to third parties. Website requests and support messages may be handled by the providers described above. Information may be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to protect the security and legal rights of users or our services.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can change sound, vibration on supported devices, and reduced-motion preferences in the game. On Android, clear the app’s storage or uninstall it to remove locally stored game data. For the Web version, clear that site’s browser data. These actions may permanently remove your progress. Manage any platform backups separately.
There is no Lightora account to delete. For information you have sent directly to us, or to exercise privacy rights available under applicable law, contact lightora@afsanora.com. Depending on your location, these rights may include access, correction, deletion or objection to certain processing.
8. Children’s privacy
The current game has no registration, chat, advertising or gameplay analytics. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information in a support message, contact us so we can review the request and delete the information where appropriate.
9. Security and changes
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If a future version changes how information is handled—for example, by adding online features or analytics—we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required before that processing begins.
